Joe Winrich, Townshend, Chairperson 
Joe Winrich lives in Townshend with his wife Nacy.  Their children, Abby and Ben, are TES and L&G graduates and both attend college in Vermont.   Joe has lived in Southern Vermont for 14 years.   He has been an elected member of the Leland & Gray school board since 2007 and Chair for the last two.  Joe is Vice President of Universal Registered Agents, Inc. where he maintains a nationwide Service of Process network and manages the appointments of independent personnel for large commercial real estate transactions.

Heidi Russ, Townshend
Heidi Russ has been a resident of Townshend for the last 24 years.  She is married to Jeff Russ, a local plumber, and they have two children ages 22 and 17.  She has worked at the Townshend Elementary School as the Administrative Assistant for over 10 years.  Prior to working in the school, Heidi worked as a Legal Assistant in a Brattleboro law firm for 15 years.

Patti Dickson, Jamaica
Patti Dickson has resided in Jamaica, Vt since 1987 with her husband, Jeff and works at Stratton Mtn as the Group Lodging Manager.  She has 2 daughters who graduated from Leland & Gray.  She served on the Jamaica Elementary school board for 6 years and is currently in her 6th year on the Leland & Gray board.

Ian Doak, Newfane
Ian Doak works at High 5 Adventure Learning Center in Brattleboro Vt, as the Assistant Director of the Challenge Course Services department. He is responsible for all of the building department's logistics and development including program and course design, proposals, scheduling and customer liaison. With a background in both building and adventure management--he worked for three years building timber-frame homes at Benson Woodworking and has a bachelor's degree from Lyndon State College in Adventure Based Programming. He also is a certified NOLS instructor and has taught backpacking, rock and ice climbing, mountaineering, canoeing and kayaking, skiing, teambuilding and challenge course programs. Ian lives in Newfane with his wife and two boys. His wife, Johanna teaches at Leland and Gray and is on the board at the local preschool. Their kids attend the local schools.

Emily Long, Newfane
Emily Long is a native Vermonter who grew up on a small farm in Newfane, Emily Long has been a school board member since 1994. She served first on the Newfane School Board and was elected to the Leland &Gray school board in 2000, a position she still holds. She has served as chair of both the L&G board and the Windham Central SU board. She is a long-time member of the Vermont School Boards Association, where she just finished a three-year term as President. Emily was elected to the Vermont House of Representatives in 2014 and served her first term on the House Committee on Education. She is also a member of the board of directors of the Vermont School Boards Insurance Trust. Emily and her husband, John, have two adult children who also live and work in Vermont.

Kelli Warriner, Newfane
Kelli Warriner has been a resident of Newfane for 17 years. She currently serves on the Leland and Gray School Board. Her son Trey is a student and L&G and her daughter Annika is at NewBrook Elementary School. Kelli has spent her professional career in the financial services industry.

Ken McFadden, Newfane

Neil Pelsue, Jr. Newfane 
Neil Pelsue, Jr. was born and raised in the West River Valley and graduated from Townshend Elementary School and Leland & Gray Seminary. Received further education at UVM, UMASS and Purdue University. Worked in agricultural economics in the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture and on the faculties of UMaine and UVM. Academic Department chair at UVM and Southern Region administrator in UVM Extension. Worked with youth baseball, hockey and soccer programs and served on School Board at Champlain Valley High School – chair of Finance Committee. Member of the WCSU RED Committee. He has had a long interest and involvement in education, especially observing the nature and extent of students’ preparation and capabilities for entering employment, continuing their education and citizenship. Currently, he and his wife reside in Newfane.
 
Erin Zargo, Brookline
Erin Zargo, originally from Dummerston and Brattleboro, is a single mother of two. Her children attend Newbrook Elementary School. She works part time at Riverbend Farm Market, and spend her time gardening.

Sherry Greene, Brookline
Sherry Greene is an 11-year resident of Brookline. She has served on the Brookline School Board and the joint Newfane/Brookline contract board. She and her husband Jack moved to Brookline in 2005. She worked in the insurance industry in management, marketing,sales, methods,procedures, and customer service before retiring. She is an active horseback rider/ owner, gardener, cook, baker, and Fitbit walker.
